Invoice and get paid, on the record
You don't have to wait to be found. Create the project, enter your client's name and email, and the platform sends them their own link to view and fund it — the same way a client can send you an invite link to bring you onto the platform. It works in both directions.
Split the job into milestones. The client funds the invoice into escrow before you start, and each milestone is released as you submit it and they approve it. No chasing a check after the work is already done.
The person hiring you passed the same government-ID and selfie verification you did. Someone unwilling to prove who they are never gets to the point of hiring you — and the ones who plan not to pay tend to be exactly the ones who won't verify.
Every invoice, milestone approval, and payment is recorded on the platform and at the payment processor. If a job ever goes sideways, there's an actual record of what was agreed and what was paid.
